About Slater’s Professional Tree Care
Slaters Professional Tree Care is a locally owned business founded in 2019 by tree care specialists Will Slater and Dino Suazo.
Born and raised in Sonoma County, both men studied at Santa Rosa Junior College and were trained as arborists.
Serving as owner-operators and estimators, Will and Dino have worked hard to build a business based on the principles of doing impeccable work efficiently, being punctual and providing affordable service. They believe strongly in the traditional notion of solid customer service.
“We believe in treating clients as if they’re family or friends,” Will explains. “And we treat their property as our own.” This includes paying close attention to all trees and shrubs while they work so other landscaping and property is not damaged.

As a result of this, Slater’s Tree Care has earned high customer satisfaction ratings. The company has steadily grown, and now features two full crews of trained tree care professionals.
According to Will and Dino, their teams are “tight knit” and have a lot of mutual respect. The work environment contributes to the fact that their team members have worked together since the company was started.
Attention to detail and training are strongly emphasized—which helps to explain the company’s perfect safety record. Will and Dino conduct “toolbox talks” for their crews every 10 days focusing on techniques and safety.
Slater’s also prides itself on “doing the jobs other companies won’t touch.” This includes handling the smallest jobs and the difficult ones, like removing large Redwood trees.
Slater’s is licensed, Bonded and insured: CA #1059035 and carries $1 million in general liability and workers comp insurance. Employees also follow Covid-19 guidelines to protect customers health and safety.
