Slater's Professional Tree Care ("Slater's," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through slaterstreecare.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect what we need to respond to your request and run our business, we don't sell your information, and you can contact us anytime with questions at slaterstreecare@gmail.com or 707-404-8628.
When you request an estimate, contact us, or use a form on the Site, you may provide your name, phone number, email address, property city or address, the services you're interested in, approximate lot size, and any details you include in a message. If you call, text, or email us — including texting photos of your trees — we receive the information you send and your contact details.
Like most websites, we and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies to understand how the Site is used. This may include your IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, referring source (such as a search engine or advertisement), and general location. We use Google Tag Manager to manage measurement tools such as Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking. We may use call tracking technology that assigns tracking phone numbers to measure which advertising brings calls; calls may be recorded for quality purposes, and where required you will be notified at the start of a call.
Some pages embed third-party services — for example, Google Maps and Google Fonts — which may collect information (such as your IP address) directly under their own privacy policies.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share information only with: (a) service providers who help us operate — such as our website host, customer relationship management platform, communications tools, and analytics providers — who may use it only to provide services to us; (b) professional advisers (such as accountants or attorneys) where needed; and (c) authorities where required by law or to protect rights and safety. If our business is ever sold or reorganized, customer information may transfer as part of that transaction.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them; parts of the Site may not function as intended without them. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on, and manage ad personalization in your Google settings. The Site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.
We are a California business serving California customers. Regardless of whether a given privacy law technically applies to a business of our size, we honor reasonable requests from you to: know what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you. We do not sell or "share" personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we do not use sensitive personal information beyond what's necessary to provide our services.
We keep inquiry and customer records for as long as needed to serve you, run our business, and meet legal requirements (for example, records related to completed contracting work), then delete or anonymize them. We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no internet transmission or storage system is guaranteed to be 100% secure.
The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest version, and meaningful changes will be posted on this page.
